Agróptimum has received the MujerAGRO 2026 Company for Equality Certificate, a recognition that highlights the commitment of companies and organisations within the agri-food sector to promoting equal opportunities and increasing the visibility of female talent.
The award ceremony took place on 7 October during Fruit Attraction 2026, held at IFEMA Madrid, as part of an event organised by MujerAGRO that brought together companies and industry representatives committed to advancing equality across the sector.
Our Director of People and Talent, Gemma Díaz García, accepted the recognition on behalf of all the women who are part of Agróptimum, dedicating a few words to acknowledge their hard work, commitment and contribution to the company's growth.
At Agróptimum, we recognise that the growth of our company is made possible by the talent, dedication and commitment of the people who make up our team.
Women play a fundamental role across the different areas of our company, from research, agricultural production and industrial processing to management, commercial operations and corporate departments.
Their expertise, involvement and leadership contribute every day to the development of an innovative, competitive and forward-looking business model.
This recognition is therefore particularly meaningful to us, as it highlights the work of all the female professionals who, through their different roles and responsibilities, contribute to transforming the pistachio industry in Spain.
The MujerAGRO initiative works to raise awareness of the role of women in the agri-food sector, encourage their participation in leadership positions and promote greater equality of opportunities within organisations.
The Company for Equality Certificate recognises organisations that demonstrate their commitment to these values, supporting the presence and recognition of female talent in a traditionally male-dominated industry.
For Agróptimum, being part of this initiative represents further encouragement to continue building a working environment where talent, professionalism and opportunities for development take centre stage.
This recognition belongs to all the women of Agróptimum, whose daily work contributes to both the present and the future of our company.
We would like to thank MujerAGRO for this recognition and for its continued efforts to raise the visibility of female talent, helping to build a more inclusive, diverse and forward-looking agri-food sector.
