Our mission is to provide the industry with the best bio-innovation in plant development, agricultural management, crop maintenance, and processing, shortening the pistachio production cycle and helping others achieve greater profitability using environmentally friendly and innovative methodologies.
We will be recognized as global leaders in innovation and sustainability. We will export our way of life, demonstrating that enjoying the effort it takes to care for the earth is profitable on an economic, personal, social, and cultural level.

We want future generations to be able to continue enjoying the fruits of this earth, which is a source of life; a gift that nourishes, sustains, and teaches.
We are committed to constantly seeking new solutions and technologies that drive efficiency and quality at all stages of pistachio production, from cultivation to final processing.
Our company strives to integrate environmentally friendly agricultural practices, minimizing the negative impact on natural resources and promoting land and water conservation for future generations.
We promote change in the agricultural industry, adopting new methodologies and processes that improve productivity and profitability, while respecting and preserving local traditions and knowledge.

Thanks to our R&D division Agróptimum Next we managed to draw the future of agriculture.
We were pioneers in creating the first smart farms in Spain. We're turning your farm into a pioneer in precision agriculture.
Agróptimum Nuts is our newest processing plant, the most technologically advanced in our country.
This plant has a peeling and drying capacity of 2.000 tons per year and a sorting speed of 1.500 kg per hour.
We offer a wide range of products, perfect for your business needs.
Furthermore, we maintain the high quality standards characteristic of the Agróptimum brand, while maintaining competitive prices in the sector.
Casa del Olmo is the sustainable bioinnovation farm of the Agróptimum group.
It has more than 250 hectares.
A research project co-funded by the European Union's Life program is being developed there.
It hosts a genetic improvement project carried out in collaboration with the University of Córdoba, which will shed light on the pistachio species of the future.
It is home to one of the first smart plots in our country.
It serves as ShowRoom at the forefront of the sector and is the central axis of the R&D&I activities of the Agróptimum group.
It's no coincidence that our facilities are located in the municipality of Villanueva de la Jara (population 2.300). In this town, our business group has created more than 150 direct jobs and contributed to its development through ongoing investment, wealth generation, and skilled employment.
In addition to the 150 direct jobs, our local operations generate dozens of indirect jobs. Currently, the figure is estimated to exceed 500. Activities derived from the group's continued expansion, such as those involving the expansion of the nurseries, foster the growth of companies not directly related to the agricultural sector. Similarly, thanks to the group's need for ancillary services, the group's growth not only supports the development of the agricultural sector but also the economic development of the entire area.
Something we're incredibly proud of is the origins of our team. The majority of our team comes from the Manchuela region of Cuenca, a testament to the skilled employment our group generates in this region of the Spanish countryside, or as we prefer to call it, the Spain of opportunity. All of this makes it easier for new generations to continue living in their places of origin and offers them an alternative to leaving their homes to find skilled employment.
The group also supports local sports by sponsoring various clubs. We participate in various agricultural sector associations and develop collaboration agreements with the region's educational institutions, particularly with the University of Castilla-La Mancha (UCLM) to host internship students for undergraduate and master's degrees in Agricultural Engineering.
As a group, we have received several business and entrepreneurship awards. In 2022, we received the award for the best young company in Castilla-La Mancha, according to AJE (Spanish Association of Entrepreneurs). That same year, our CEO, Ángel Minaya, received the award for best young entrepreneur according to CEAJE (Spanish Association of Entrepreneurs). In 2023, Banco Santander awarded us the award for the best SME in Cuenca, and in 2024, the Regional Government of Castilla-La Mancha (JCCLM) recognized us with the Business Merit Award in the category of job-creating companies.
Our group holds two ISO certifications: 9001 and 14001. ISO 9001 establishes the minimum criteria for having a quality management system in place, while ISO 14001 focuses on establishing the framework for effective environmental management.
In addition to these two certifications, the group has been recognized with the Global GAP certification, the world's leading certification for good practices in the agricultural sector. Among these, our group stands out for the traceability of its products, environmental stewardship, and worker safety.
Part of our research and development efforts are focused on discovering a new pistachio variety that is more productive, more drought-resistant, has unique organoleptic properties, and is adapted to the specific characteristics of the Spanish climate. This project is being carried out in collaboration with the University of Córdoba, an institution with extensive experience developing varietal species, and promises to yield its first results within 12 years. With this project, we aim to leave a legacy for Spanish agriculture: a new variety that will allow future generations to produce a greater quantity of food, of higher quality, and at a lower cost.
Along with innovation, sustainability is the core of our business. In our view of the world, sustainable agriculture plays a crucial role in preserving the environment and promoting biodiversity. For this reason, at Agróptimum, sustainability is more than just a word; it's the core of our processes; it's a broad, long-term commitment to the planet and future generations. It's a way to ensure that responsible pistachio farming serves as the foundation for a successful circular economy.
Of the 140 nurseries that sell pistachio plants in our country, it is estimated that only 0,7% exceed one million plants sold; that 0,7% is us. Our production has been growing since the company's inception, with an exponential jump between the 2022 and 2023 campaigns. Currently, our nursery's production capacity is one million plants per year, equivalent to producing one out of every two pistachios planted each year in Spain. A dominant position that reaffirms our commitment to quality, innovation, and sustainability.
The current market trend is toward large pistachio plantations with intensive irrigation systems and advanced crop monitoring and management technologies. These large areas are more profitable for farmers, as they greatly benefit from economies of scale.
The Agróptimum group embraced this trend when it was just a vision and managed to grow to what it is today. The reason for this growth is simple: while small, traditional plantations offer uneven quality and risk becoming unproductive, large plantations allow for the profitable application of precision agriculture techniques, guaranteeing returns for investors.
Following the opening of the Acemi Spain facilities in 2019, the group's revenue increased two-fold. In 2,5, the group reported a turnover of €2020 million; in 7,8, this figure was €2023 million.
On the other hand, gross operating profit (EBITDA) tripled between 2021 and 2023.
Our current business model is based on a 360-degree approach, which allows us to offer support to farmers and investors investing in pistachios throughout all phases of the crop. This strategy has allowed us to scale our company and position ourselves as a leading player in the European market for pistachio plant production and crop management.
Our services are aimed at investment companies, large corporations, and individual farmers seeking a reliable, high-quality partner to develop their pistachio cultivation. Our goal as a company is to maximize our investors' returns through our constant focus on innovation, while transforming agriculture into a more sustainable activity.
The Agróptimum group has a presence in two other countries that produce pistachio plants in Europe.
Italy Our group supplies plants to historic Sicilian farms seeking to modernize, specifically in Bronte, a volcanic land located next to the Etna Valley, where pistachios have a DO (Denomination of Origin) due to the unique characteristics of this terrain.
Greece: This producing country lacks large national nurseries, as its capacity to industrialize the crop is limited due to the lack of cultivable land and its complex spelling. However, the pistachio is a historical crop deeply rooted in the country's culture. That's why our group is responsible for supplying plants to new projects and existing ones undergoing renewal, to continue giving life to an ancient crop in Greece.
